THE RECOVER OF THE HALIFAX AIRCRAFT

The Halifax Aircraft Association is proud to announce the production of a special 90 minute Documentary featuring the recovery of the Halifax MKA VII NA337 from Lake Mjosa, Norway in September 1995

This exciting adventure, edited by Manterex 11 Productions Inc. features footage recorded in Norway, England and Canada over the past two years as the dream of a Halifax for Canada became a reality. The documentary is ready for delivery and would make a great gift for all generations of Canadians.

The Documentary features interviews and special moments from the recovery, including underwater Submarine footage of the Halifax in 740' of water being lifted and landed. The video also includes memorable interviews recorded in England and visits to former air bases in Yorkshire plus interviews recorded in Canada featuring RCAF/RAF veterans.

By Purchasing a copy of this historic video, your funds will go toward the costs of the recovery and the future restoration of the Halifax at the Royal Canadian Airforce Memorial Museum in Trenton.
