Tamiya 1/48 North American P-51D Mustang
of the 361st Fighter Group, 375th Fighter Squadron, 8th Air Force, USAAF, 1944

The kit was backdated to an early production "D", with the resin P-51D early tail conversion by Ultracast. The kit seat was also replaced by the appropriate Ultacast P-51D seat.

The natural metal finish was done with "Alclad Shade B" and the cam was done with "Polly Scale OD". The model depicts "Lou IV, as flown by Col. T.J.Christian. The markings were done with a combination of an early Aeromaster sheet (now out of production) and kit decals.
