Hasegawa CF-18 (dual)
425 (Alouette) Sqn.
Canadian Armed Forces

Modifications made to the basic kit, include:

a) "High Flight" resin wings, featuring dropped flaps and leading edges.....
b) Repositioned rudders & stabilizers....
c) "Aeroclub" ejection seats. Said to be the only 1/72 aftermmarket seats based on the CAF pattern
d) "Airwaves" P/E cockpit set. An improvement over the Hasegawa cockpit, the rear position was nothing more than a P/E version of the (incorrect) corresponding position on the (original) Italeri release of the dual F-18. I ended up getting a 2nd Airwaves set and modifying the front cockpit P/E to install into the rear position....
e) scratched intake pipes and added detail on fins, including the re-enforcement modifications done to the actual CF-18's, at the base of the fins....

Decals are from "Arrow Graphics", with the odd piece from the defunct "Signagraft" sheet. Paints are "Testor's Modelmaster" Light Ghost Grey (FS36375) and "Gunze" Med Grey (FS35237).
