The kit depicts BAe Sea Harrier FA.2 ZD610/000 of No. 801 NAS, Fleet Air Arm, as it appeared during exercise "Ocean Wave '97". HMS Illustrious, April 1997.

Additions/modifications to 1/48 Airfix kit:

• intake bleed doors opened
• hinge plates added to tailplanes
• dorsal nav light added from scratch
• raised surface detail removed, model rescribed
• ejection seat replaced with white metal one from Aeroclub

Painted with Gunze Sangyo acrylics, kit decals applied, model sprayed with Aeromaster Clear Satin after weathering.
